DESCRIPTION
Sandy coast mixed with pebbles. Maximum depths are in the central part of the basin. Water transparency is 2 meters; chromaticity is between 60 and 100 grades during a year.
Genetic composition of the lake is eutrophic. Overgrowing is of the very low level.
Ichthyology fauna
Currently there are 12 fish species in the lake: bream, pike, ruff, carp, rudd, perch, roach, white bream, tench, carassius, common bleak. Two of them are introduced – carp and carassius.

It is located 25 kilometers southwest from Braslav, nearby Tovshina village.
