DESCRIPTION
Shallow-water reservoir, low coastline (up to 0,3 m); on the west – sandy, covered with forest vegetation, on the east – floating mat, peated. Lake Bolto is water circulating reservoir according to its hydrological type: on the east a small channel flows out of it then flowing into Lake Drivyaty.
transparency - 0,6 m, chromaticity - 25-30 grades. Genetic type - eutrophic.
Ichthyology fauna
Currently in the lake there are 14 fish species: bream, pike, eel, ide, perch, roach, white bream, tench, silver crucian, golden crucian, carp, rudd, bleak, ruffe. Three of them are introduced: eel, carp, silver crucian.
